Here’s What Happens When a Ref Doesn’t Stop a Boxing Match

WBA World Cruiserweight Champion Denis Lebedev lost his title Friday night. He also lost his ability to look human. Lebedev’s right eye was cut in the first round. Neither the ref or his cornerman stopped the fight. He was eventually knocked out in the 11th round, but his eye became so swollen by then he couldn’t see out of it. Hopefully his trainers removed any mirrors from his locker room.
