Akron Zips star point guard Alex Abreu has been busted on felony drug charges after accepting a “large” shipment of marijuana from an undercover police officer.
He is being charged with two third-degree felonies of drug trafficking and drug abuse.
This will be a big hit to the Zips who are currently 24-5 and most likely the MACs representatives in the NCAA tournament coming up in 2 weeks.
