Next Year’s Super Bowl Date Is Flexible

The NFL has a contingency plan if next the Super Bowl scheduled for Feb. 2 at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey gets hit with a snowpocalypsis. The league will simply change the date of the game. It could either be the Saturday before the scheduled date or several days later. Somehow the name “Super Bowl Thursday” doesn’t have the same excitement.
