In an effort to recoup losses cause by the Bernie Madoff scandal, the Mets owners are attempting to open up a full fledged Vegas style casino near CitiField. The Wilpons will be working with the Shinnecock Indian Nation have offered the city $100 million for the 62-acre site. Sounds like a plan; send disappointed, drunk Mets fans to a casino to let them forget their problems.
