Meet the Upper East Side Hoarder

This week the tv show Hoarders featured New York City’s own Upper East Side Hoarder.  You may have heard about him on the Ron and Fez Show.  If you met him, you’d find him to be a clean cut, well mannered guy in the neighborhood.  But his unusual practice of cramming saved trash, old suitcases, clothing, boxes and more in trucks and cars near his New York City home, has been discussed several times on the show.

But what you probably didn’t know is that he sleeps outside on a bench because his apartment is also too full of clutter to walk in and out of.  In fact, it’s so jam packed that his landlord threatened to begin eviction proceedings.  This was revealed on this week’s episode of Hoarders on A&E.

The show also revealed that his name is Kevin and his parents were famous talk show hosts in the ’50s.  He grew up wealthy — with maids and housekeepers.  And his apartment is full of among other things, memorabilia of his parents careers and an unspecified number of cats.
