While Palm Springs didn’t set the record for the hottest in recorded history of the world (at 130) it did hit 124 which is a new record for Palm Springs

Six Flags and Cedar Fair Merge

Six Flags has merged with a rival amusement park company named Cedar Fair, known for its beautiful parks. CF will hold the controlling interest, and the new entity flies the Six Flags banner. Fans of both groups of parks are a little nervous that their fave places will change. Together, they now operate 42 amusement and water parks across 17 states, making them the largest in the country.

They hope to connect all the parks by coaster.

A wildfire being called the Lake Fire is getting uncomfortably close to Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara and evacuations of nearby houses are underway.

On Saturday, Clark grabbed a rebound, that seemed routine but it was her 10th in the fourth quarter, giving her her first career triple-double with 10 rebounds, 15 points and 10 assists. And it was the first ever by a rookie in the league.

Cena announced his retirement at the Money in the Bank event on Saturday in Toronto. He’s promising to participate fully in 2025, including a 30 date tour, and participation with WWE Raw as it relocates to Netflix.

Ryan Reynolds Teases Hugh Jackman Movie Outside of Super Hero World

“We have one we’re looking to do soon,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “I would say that [ours] is like any relationship that is successful and works: It’s that two parties are rooting for each other,” explained Reynolds. “I’m always rooting for Hugh to score and win. I also know the infinite nuance of his heart and his mind and who he is. I can say firsthand that he’s a person who’s not just worth rooting for, he’s somebody who’s impossible to not root for.”

James Cameron Remembers Jon Landau

M Night Shyamalan Keeps Getting Weirder

Its Silence of the Lambs Meets Taylor Swift Concert, or so says the director of his movie, “Trap” coming to theaters in August. “I directed an entire concert!” he told Empire. “And it wasn’t just a thing in the background. It’s equally important. There is no pretend concert going on. I love the idea of cinema as windows within windows. One of the reasons to come see the movie at the movie theater is because there’s literally a real concert that you can see nowhere except in that movie.”

Trapped are the people who still believe you can make a good movie.
