Scientology Gets a Win in Court Against Leah Remini
In a March 12 split final ruling from Los Angeles Superior Court, several of Leah Remini’s counts against the religious organization were thrown out on First Amendment grounds, but her claims of harassment will continue forward. “By engaging in the back-and-forth, purposely public battle against each other, the parties have made the issue one of significant public interest. Therefore, Plaintiffs allegations concerning Defendants’ online statements about her ‘arise from’ Defendants’ protected activities. Defendants have therefore met their burden for the speech implicated in these portions of the First Amended Complaint,” the decision read in part.
If Kevin James can’t intimidate her Scientology can’t either.

And sure, it used to embarrass me when you pick me up from school as a kid, but I gotta say at this point, I respect it.”
That’s how he got the star. It wasn’t his music.

Its life imitating art. A Susie Green billboard from Curb was reproduced in Santa Monica. And just as in the episode that featured the billboard, the IRL one was defaced with double dick graffiti.
This is more dick than she’s had in 40 years.
