A British author and tv producer is claiming he believes John Lennon’s killer, Mark Chapman, may have been brainwashed by the FBI to be patsy and take the fall for Lennon’s murder. David Whelan asserts in his book, “Gimme Some Truth – The Assassination of John Lennon”, that Chapman was behind Lennon, but that contrary to the existing narrative, he believes Lennon was shot in the chest by a trained assassin. His book and related documentary will come out later this year.

Former NBA coach Phil Jackson says he’s really lost interest in the NBA after Oralando. “All the teams that could qualify went down there and stayed down there, no audience, and they had things on their back like ‘Justice’ and a funny thing happened like ‘Justice went to the basket and Equal Opportunity knocked him down’… Some of my grandkids thought it was pretty funny to play up those names; I couldn’t watch that,” Phil said. Jackson complained about slogans on the floor, and turning some people off by catering to one audience.

On his HBO Show Real Time, Bill Maher read one of Tucker Carlson’s texts referring to Trump’s lawyer Sydney Powell. The text read “She’s a fucking bitch, a psychopath, a liar and a cunt!”. And then on air he would be supportive of her, giving her credibility. The audience let out a loud gasp hearing the text.

As Rust resumed filming this week, Alec Baldwin got back to work, but he’s also working on another project- Rust the Documentary. Baldwin has engaged Oscar Nominated Documentary Filmmaker Rory Kennedy to make a doc about the film, the nightmarish incident that resulted in the death of Halyna Hutchins, and Baldwin himself.

This is sure to be much more interesting than his movie.

Wong and her Beef co-star Steven Yeun, whose characters are out to destroy each other, are on the same side about co-star David Choe in real life. Basically, Choe appeared on a podcast a decade ago saying he was a successful rapist, and telling a story about an incident with a massage therapist. He later said he made the story up, but Beef fans are pissed and talking about boycotts. “The story David Choe fabricated nine years ago is undeniably hurtful and extremely disturbing. We do not condone this story in any way, and we understand why this has been so upsetting and triggering,” they told Vanity Fair. “We’re aware David has apologized in the past for making up this horrific story, and we’ve seen him put in the work to get the mental health support he needed over the last decade to better himself and learn from his mistakes.”
