While sentencing Alex Murdaugh to life in prison, the judge mentioned that that the prosecutors elected not to pursue the death penalty and even seemed to suggest that the death penalty would have been a more appropriate sentence.

The DART mission was a success, NASA has confirmed, and that means we feel pretty confident that we can deflect killer asteroids heading toward Earth using rockets. But the bad news is, we need years to prepare in order to do it successfully, so we need to know the damn thing is coming years ahead.
