Last Working Payphone in NYC is Gone

Most payphones have been gone for years, but NYC had one last working pay telephone. But Monday, that last remaining phone was removed. It will be displayed at the City Museum of New York.

Police were called out at 5pm over the weekend to deal with a massive TikTok Beach Party that got out of hand, and now there’s a curfew starting at 9pm.

Shouldn’t it be a 5pm curfew since that’s when the trouble started? It could be the world’s first happy hour curfew.

Dude Hired to DJ a Party Busted Playing Some Other DJ's Spotify List

A guy called “Young DJ/Rave Father from the Bronx” claims he got paid to dj a party and instead of mixing it up he just stood there cosplaying DJ while he let a 3 hour spotify playlist from a real dj play. He posted a tiktok with the caption, “POV they paid me to DJ, but they have no idea I’m just playing another DJ’s 3 hr mix off of soundcloud.”

“Wait… you expected me to mix live and risk messing up the set??

They’re calling him the Dane Cook of deejaying.

Was Walmart's Juneteenth Ice Cream a Bad Idea

Twitter is not reacting well to Walmart’s Juneteenth celebration ice cream. The limited edition flavor combines Red Velvet and Cheesecake Ice Cream. Tweeters reacted that the move was exploitive and tone deaf and the word co-opted was used a lot.

Heat Is Calling Out Celtics Payton Pritchard

The Heat are pissed about a defensive move Pritchard made against Jimmy Butler, resulting in an injury to the Heat player. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said it “was not a basketball play. We’re not really sure why it was determined that was a basketball play or that was a legal play or that was a safe play.”

It may not be a basketball play but it is a Playoff Basketball play. Things get rough post season.

A video shows former Denver Broncos cornerback Brendan Langley fighting at Newark airport. The start of the fight wasn’t filmed, but in the video you can ese Langley getting shoved, reacting in shock and then hitting back, eventually knocking the employee down not once but twice.

Langley, you’d been this tough a few years ago, you would still be in the NFL.
