Rachel Nichols, ESPN In a World of Shit After Phone Call Leaked

A video leaked sharing a year old conversation between ESPN sports personality Rachel Nichols and an advisor. Nichols had just learned she would not host coverage of the NBA finals, and was discussing her situation. In the call she is upset that she has lost an opportunity that she was expecting, and she blamed it on the company’s poor record on diversity.

“I wish Maria Taylor all the success in the world — she covers football, she covers basketball. If you need to give her more things to do because you are feeling pressure about your crappy longtime record on diversity — which, by the way, I know personally from the female side of it — like, go for it. Just find it somewhere else. You are not going to find it from me or taking my thing away.”

Cosby Blasts Attack on Phylicia Rashad; Calls Media Insurrectionists

“Howard University you must support ones Freedom of Speech (Ms. Rashad), which is taught or suppose to be taught everyday at that renowned law school, which resides on your campus,” Cosby said in a statement. “This mainstream media are the Insurrectionists, who stormed the Capitol. Those same Media Insurrectionists are trying to demolish the Constitution of these United State of America on this Independence Day,” the statement put out by Cosby’s longtime spokesman Andrew Wyatt added. “No technicality — it’s a violation of ones rights & we the people stand in support of Ms. Phylicia Rashad.”
