Scotty’s Ashes Smuggled Into Outer Space

In a new interview with The Sunday Times, video game entrepreneur Richard Garriott revealed that he was able to smuggle the ashes of Star Trek actor James Doohan aboard the International Space Station in 2008. Doohan, who passed away in 2005, played chief engineer Scotty and always wanted to get aboard the ISS. William Shatner is lobbying NASA to have his version of ‘Common People’ to be part of the first mission to Mars.
