Stiller and Meara Mrs. Claus Sketch From the Ed Sullivan Show Now on YouTube

The Ed Sullivan Channel continues to release classic performance clip on their YouTube channel, and this holiday classic is a great way to kick off your own holiday season.

Jerry Stiller plays Walker Flonkite (from the t and v), who visits the North Poll hoping to get and interview with Santa himself, but instead gets a face to face with Mrs. Claus played by Anne Meara. In this clip Mrs. Claus goes through her problems including Meshuggena elves, an overabundance of Ho Ho Ho, and the difficulty she has finding her husband when he’s out carousing with the reindeer.

The sketch originally aired December 17, 1967.

The Ed Sullivan Show’s official YouTube channel has been releasing classic performances from comedy greats as well as great from rock n’ roll acts. Comedy clips releases past and future include David Brenner, Flip Wilson, Jack Paar, Joan Rivers, Mort Sahl, Nipsey Russell, Jackie Mason, Shelly Berman, Rodney Dangerfield and more.
