For the 1st time since its inception, The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony will not take place due to the pandemic. Lady A, formerly known as Lady Antebellum, is suing blues singer Lady A over the right to trademark the name. Last month, the group decided to go with the shorter name since Antebellum was associated with slavery. This drew the ire of blues singer Anita White, who has been performing and recording under the name Lady A for over 20 years. The band claims that held a trademark on the name ‘Lady A’ for several years and tried to come with an agreement with the Seattle based singer. The group added that when White demanded 10 million dollars as compensation, they have no choice but to let the courts work it out. The loser in this lawsuit should change their name to Friggin A.
