The remains of more than 100 people were found in a Pensacola, Florida storage locker. The storage facility auctioned off the unit and the buyer noticed an odor coming as they were going through boxes and furniture. They discovered human brains, hearts, and lungs stored in “Tupperware containers, garbage bags, and drink cups.” Officials say that the storage unit belonged to Dr. Michael Berkland, the Pensacola Medical Examiner from 1997 to 2003.
