Julian Assange Makes an Appearance Via Balcony

Julian Assange walked out onto the balcony of Ecuadors embassy in London to address the media. He called for President Obama to end the witch hunt against Wikileaks. He also stated that the United States is heralding in an era of journalistic oppression.
He called for Bradley Manning’s release, Manning was one of Wikileaks biggest informants and has been jailed since he was discovered. Assange has been holed up inside Ecuadors embassy since June, fighting extradition to Sweden where he’s accused of rape, but what Assange says he’s really afraid of is Sweden passing him off to the United States. As of right now, everything is at a stalemate, unless Britain chooses to take action at the Ecuadorian embassy.
