Death Row Inmate Gets Reprieve, Rejects It

A man on death row, Gary Haugen, was granted clemency by the governor of Oregon, but rejected it, saying he wants to die. A court just ruled that Haugen was within his rights to reject the last minute reprieve. Haugen is on death row for killing his girlfriend’s mother and then a fellow inmate in prison. Should Haugen get the right to ask to die?
