Ariana Grande Doesn’t Appreciate Pete Davidson’s Breakup Joke
In an SNL Promo, Pete Davidson made a joke about his breakup with Ariana Grande by asking the musical guest Maggie Rogers if she wanted to get married. When she said no, Davidson sheepishly said he’s 0 for 3.
After seeing this, Grande vague tweeted in his direction. “For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh. thank u. next.” which she later deleted.
Sources are saying that when Saturday Night Live returns this week, there will be no references to the break up. TMZ reported that once Pete got word that Ariana was upset about the promo, he pulled a sketch he’d written for the show this week, and Lorne Michaels reportedly gave permission to pull the bit.
This was supposed to be the “Goldie and Kurt” for Millennials but instead, it’s just another failure.
