That Loudon Wainwright III Documentary that Judd Apatow is Producing Finally Has an Official Announce
We first found out that Judd Apatow was producing a special for Loudon Wainright III when it was announced that Judd would participate in a panel with LW3 for the New Yorker festival, but until now, it hadn’t been officially announced. Today Netflix gave us a few details on the upcoming series, which is also being produced by Funny or Die.
Grammy-winning singer Loudon Wainwright III reflects on the close but complicated relationships between fathers and sons in this intimate evening of music and storytelling, directed by Christopher Guest. Guest said”Loudon Wainwright has written a brilliant show. It is funny, emotional, and filled with his incredible songs.” Apatow says Wainwright is a national treasure. “I am so thrilled that Netflix has given Loudon Wainwright the opportunity to share this wonderful show with their audience.”
Launching on November 13.
