Ellen Teases Netflix Special With a One Sided Phone Call

Netflix has revealed the title for Ellen DeGeneres new Netflix Original Comedy Special. Shes’ calling the hour “Relatable” and the hour will debut on December 18th. Filmed at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall, “Relatable” is Ellen’s first stand up hour in 15 years. The long awaited follow up follows two prior specials; Ellen DeGeneres: Here and Now (2003) and Ellen DeGeneres: The Beginning (2000) were both recorded for HBO. What Ellen’s been up to in the intervening years is anyone’s guess.
In the teaser for the upcoming hour, Ellen is seen having a one-sided phone call with Bono. “Yeah you too,” she tells Bono, adding “I didn’t even mean that, I just said it.”
