HBO Camping Comedy Series Will Kick Off With an Instagram Contest with REI
To celebrate the launch of its newest comedy, Camping, HBO is going to the world’s most recognizable name in camping eq- REI to launch an instagram contest. To prepare for the great outdoors and the premiere of the new comedy, HBO and REI are inviting Instagram users to post their best Camping hack videos. Series writers and executive producers Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner will select the grand prize winner. By hack, we’re talking lifehacks, not shitty jokes. Post your camping lifehack using the hashtag #campingHBOcontest and the @HBO tag. You could win at trip to Los Angeles to attend the LA Camping premiere on October 10th plus a $300 REI Gift Card, an REI Co-op Base Camp 4 Tent, camp blanket, and fanny pack, and your video will air at regional screenings at three flagship stores across the country. The screenings will play in Seattle (Oct. 8), Denver (Oct. 12), and Washington D.C. (Oct. 16). Guests will be treated to CAMPING themed treats while learning new camping tips and checking out the latest camping gear to get the full CAMPING experience.
REI and HBO will also give away trips to regional screenings, gift cards, camping gear and more.

The series costars David Tennant along with Juliette Lewis, Arturo Del Puerto, Ione Skye, Janicza Bravo, Brett Gelman, and Bridget Everett.
