Derrick had testified against his estranged wife, Lavetta Graham, for pepper spraying him and stabbing him with scissors. When he left court she was stealing his SUV, drove into him, and gunned the car. Then she drove on Interstate 664 while he clung to the hood until he was thrown from the truck as she drove away cackling… and reportedly surrounded by flying monkeys.
