Drug Raid Nostalgia

Here’s a video of an NYPD drug bust, which sounds pretty common except that this one is from 1948.  There happened to be a Telenews newsreel camera on the scene while cops broke up a party and “found 60 reefers”.  The obvious difference between drug raids now and 64 years ago, the people being busted really didn’t seem to mind back then.  In fact, they’re a pretty happy bunch.
