Cedric the Entertainer Series Coming to CBS

CBS gave the greenlight to “Welcome to the Neighborhood”, a multicamera sitcom starring Cedric the Entertainer. The fish out of water series follows the nicest guy in his midwest who moves to a tough L.A. neighborhood with his family, and doesn’t know how to quit being neighborly. Josh Lawson, Tichina Arnold and Dreama Walker co-star in the series which hails from Big Bang Theory writer Jim Reynolds.
The network also gave the go-ahead to an untitled comedy starring Damon Wayans Jr. who stars as one half of a thirty-something couple who try to reconnected with their younger cooler selves when a pop star moves into the neighborhood.
