Former basketball player Kobe Bryant won his first Oscar for his animated short film “Dear Basketball.” While there was a lot of people happy and supportive of Kobe, those invested in the #MeToo and “Time’s Up” movements were pretty upset he won because of his 2003 rape allegations. All awards now come with a free side of online scrutiny and disapproval.
