Fox Finally Renews Neil deGrasse Tyson’s Cosmos for a Second Season

It’s been four years since Fox rebooted Carl Sagan’s classic documentary series, Cosmos: A Personal Journey, with astrophysicist “It boy” Neil deGrasse Tyson at the helm. That was 2014. Fox finally announced a second season coming in 2019. The second season will be titled Cosmos: Possible Worlds making this renewal feel a bit like a reboot of his own reboot. The show is produced by Seth MacFarlane
Neil deGrasse Tyson will retain his role and science’s answer to Guy Fieri.
