Lakers Retire Kobe’s Numbers 8 and 24, Make $824k In Sales
On December 18th the Lakers retired both of Kobe Bryant’s numbers he wore for the team, numbers 8 and 24. In a weird coincidence that doesn’t even seem possible. AEG, the company that owns Staples Center sold $824,000 in Bryant jerseys and related memorabilia in the process. LaVar Ball is now petitoning the NBA to let Lonzo wear the number 1 Billion.
