CaliBurger is using a machine that will identify registered customers and pull up their loyalty accounts without requiring them to swipe a card. From there, customers can place orders or bring up their meal histories for faster re-ordering. If it does well, it will expand to 40 restaurants nationwide. This is how robots will defeat us, by learning how each and every one of us like our burgers made and using it against us down the road.
