Tiffany Haddish Narrates the S5 Premiere of Drunk History: Watch the Trailer


Get ready for the return of America’s drunkest history class. The Emmy®-winning Comedy Central series Drunk History returns for its fifth season premiering on Tuesday, January 23 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
During the premiere episode Tiffany Haddish– who has absolutely exploded this year after a breakout role in the summer movie Girls Trip– narrates museum curator Rose Valland’s (Busy Philipps) risky quest to save Europe’s masterpieces from the Nazis. Also in the premiere Paget Brewster slurs her way through the story of Deborah Sampson (Evan Rachel Wood), the first woman to take a bullet for America during the Revolutionary War and Amber Ruffin recalls the bravery of “The Angel of the Battlefield,” Clara Barton (Mandy Moore), who founded the American Red Cross with the help of surgeon James Dunn (Alexander Skarsgård) and Abraham Lincoln (Jack McBrayer).
Season five is packed full of A-list performers both new and returning to play figures from all parts of history. You’ll see Vanessa Bayer, Jack Black, Josh Charles, Rob Corddry, Rich Fulcher, Tony Hale, Colin Hanks, Vanessa Hudgens, David Koechner, Johnny Knoxville, Jane Krakowski, Abbi Jacobson, Taran Killam, Justin Long, Jason Mantzoukas, Bob Odenkirk, Jesse Plemons, Seth Rogen, Paul Scheer, Martin Starr, Jorma Taccone, Amber Tamblyn, Allison Tolman,and Weird Al Yankovic among others.
