Men In Black Is Coming Back
It looks like the 21 Jump Street and Men in Black crossover won’t be happening right now because a Men in Black spin-off movie without Will Smith or Tommy Lee Jones, is developing quickly from Sony. The new film will inhabit the same universe as Agents K and J, but will put the focus on new characters who keep the world safe from extraterrestrial villains.
Matt Holloway & Art Marcum who wrote Iron Man, wrote the script for the new MIB movie and Steven Spielberg is attached as an EP, but there’s no word on any casting thoughts or who will direct just yet. That crossover idea isn’t dead yet, it’s just been back burner-ed in favor of the faster moving spin-off.
The studio has a planned May 17, 2019, release date. What’s better than a movie without its stars!?
