Movie reviewer for the Observer, Rex Reed, was never a fan of Darren Aronofsky and he is most definitely not a fan of Darren Aronofsky’s new film starring his current girlfriend, Jennifer Lawrence. He said not only is it the worst movie of the year, but could be the worst of the century. “Stealing ideas from Polanski, Fellini and Kubrick, he’s jerrybuilt an absurd Freudian nightmare that is more wet dream than bad dream, with the subtlety of a chainsaw.”
