Two Motel 6 locations in Phoenix were sending a list out every morning to the U.S. Immigration and Customs department, leading to at least 20 people being arrested at those locations. Motel 6 says it was ‘implemented at the local level’ and senior bosses didn’t know about it. When corporate was informed on what was going on, they fired those involved with the practices. Motel 6, book 4 nights and your 5th night is free (in a jail cell). It turns out that a Motel 6 doesn’t need to have a rodent infestation in order to still have a big rat problem.
