Shonda Rhimes Is Taking Her Talents To Netflix

Just a few days after Disney announced they were leaving Netflix and starting their own streaming service, Netflix delivered a huge blow to Disney’s property ABC. Netflix has signed Shonda Grimes to an exclusive development deal for their service. Grimes will continue to work on her current ABC shows, but will no longer make new shows for ABC. ABC is drafting a proposal to give the kids from Stranger Things their own developmental deal as a blowback.
