Who is Hosting Saturday Night Live Tonight: February 18, 2017

Who is Hosting SNL Tonight? Dave Chappelle.
Saturday Night Live is not live tonight. The cast and crew of Saturday Night Live are taking the week off after last week’s epic ratings smash hosted by Alec Baldwin (who broke his own record with his 17th time at bat for SNL). But that doesn’t mean you should find something else to watch at 11:30pm, because SNL is re-running its post-election hit episode hosted by Dave Chappelle. At the time this episode ran, it was the highest rated episode of the season, and one of the best episodes in recent years.
Listen TO UNMASKED with JIMMY FALLON, A One Hour In-Depth Interview with SiriusXM’s Ron Bennington
In this one show, you’ll re-experience the beautiful cold open paying tribute to Leonard Cohen and simultaneously expressing the loss felt by Clinton supporters everywhere. The rest of the episode reacts to the election, poking fun at Trump, Trump Supporters and also taking some shots at those who were completely shocked by Trump’s win. Comedy fans will get to enjoy Chappelle’s powerful eleven minute monologue covering the election, gun violence, race and gentrification. Stand up comedy legend Chris Rock also makes a guest appearance in a hilarious sketch re-enacting what happened in millions of apartments across America at election night parties.
Listen TO UNMASKED with Judd Apatow, Artie Lange and Pete Holmes, A One Hour In-Depth Interview
Chappelle Show fans will love the nods to the series through the show including a Walking Dead themed sketch giving love to many of Chapelle’s old characters, and it’s a great week for Weekend Update.
SNL will be back with a brand new live episode on March 4th with Octavia Spencer hosting.
