Mike Myers Explains the Real Difference Between Canadians and Americans is a Burlesque Level of Politeness

Mike Myers has lived in America for 33 years- longer than he’s lived in Canada, but he says Canada is still his home. That’s fitting, because he said his dad who hailed from Liverpool never quite let go of his home country despite raising his kids in Canada.
He wrote a book on the Northern nation to embrace his love for his home country. Well actually he wrote the book because a publisher approached him and asked him to write the book, but he was happy to oblige. Last night on the Tonight Show, Myers told Jimmy Fallon that the main difference between the U.S. and Canada is that Canada takes politeness to such an extreme that it’s almost burlesque.
Later Mike and Jimmy rolled dice and danced in color coded clothing. Watch both clips below.
