Comics Paying Tribute to Otto and George This Weekend

Nearly three years ago already, the world lost Otto Petersen. The legendary ventriloquist, who made a name for himself on the streets of NYC with his crass and confrontational comedy, was a fixture of the New York comedy scene, beloved by all who knew him. While he may be gone, his friends and family in the comedy world are ensuring that he is not forgotten.
This Friday, the 3rd annual Otto and George tribute show will take place. Held at Brooklyn’s Bull’s Eye Sports Pub, the free event will feature a solid lineup of local NYC comics that includes former Otto and George opener Keith Carnevale, Sheba Mason (daughter of Jackie Mason), Joey Gay (Last Comic Standing), host Rich Carucci, Joe Conte (The Conte & Kenny Show), Erik Braunstein and Johnny O. The venue is promising “no cover, no minimums, cheap drinks;”
Head over to Bull’s Eye Sports Pub and see a bunch of people pay tribute to one of the boldest, most creative comics to ever do the job. Show starts at 9 p.m.
