Who is Hosting Saturday Night Live tonight? Your favorite Sherlock, that’s who. After a week off, Saturday Night Live is back live tonight and hopefully, the extra week rest means that you can expect a gigantic episode tonight. Benedict Cumberbatch is hosting, but you can probably expect it to be a little less host intensive tonight, the focus will undoubtedly be on Tuesday’s election.

Tonight will be Cumberbatch’s first time hosting the show. Whether you know him as Sherlock, Khan, Alan Turing or Julian Assange, expect the multiple-award winning actor to put on great performances tonight. Even though he’s not known for comedic performances, we’re predicting he’ll fit in just fine. Check out his promo if you don’t believe us.

SNL is sure to put on a politically intensive episode tonight, and Cumberbatch is no stranger to roles that fall under the realm of politics. Don’t expect to see Alec Baldwin around the city enjoying a Saturday night, even though there’s no Clinton-Trump promo this week. It’s a safe bet that Baldwin will be in a makeup chair in the hours leading up to tonight’s SNL. Hopefully Baldwin and Kate McKinnon will have something strong enough to finally get everyone to shut up about David Pumpkins.
