SNL Announces Three New Castmembers

The trades are all reporting that Saturday Night Live has announced new castmembers who will replace SNL’s outgoing cast. As previously speculated by Vulture, SNL writer Mikey Day will be joining the cast along with Alex Moffat and Melissa Villaseñor.
No word on whether Chris Redd will also join the cast. Last Friday, The Comic’s Comic quoted sources as saying Redd would be joining the cast but there was no mention of Redd in today’s announcement.
The three will replace departing players Jay Pharoah, Taran Killam and Jon Rudnitsky.
Season 42 of Saturday Night Live starts on October 2.
