Genetically Modified Mutant Zika Destroying Mosquitoes

As reports come in of at least 16 known cases of Zika reported in Florida, the FDA has approved the test trial of genetically modified mosquitoes. The mosquitoes are altered so that their offspring die before they can reproduce. This sounds like a plan of action from a Jurassic Park scientist but hey, it usually worked out for them, right?
