Who’s Hosting Saturday Night Live This Week: July 23, 2016
Tonight Saturday Night Live will not be live, but SNL will re-air this year’s season opener, hosted by Miley Cyrus who also serves as musical guest. This was Cyrus’ third time hosting the show.
You’ll also see Cyrus get emotional performing “The Twinkle Song” with a photo of her recently deceased dog Floyd on the piano, a great sketch with a guest appearance by Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and Kate McKinnon, a Donald and Melania Trump open with Taran Killam and Cecily Strong doing the impressions, and a great political ad for a medication just for people suffering from dementia about wanting to be President.
The season opener also marks the debut of SNL’s newest player, Jon Rudnitsky made his first appearance on the show in this episode. Rudnitsky who makes his first appearance in a funny sketch with Cyrus, Pete Davidson, and Kate McKinnon about millennials at work. Rudnitsky was 25, a YouTube star, and a Just for Laughs new face before joining the cast.
In the promo for the episode, Miley finds love in the arms of Leslie Jones, and Leslie finds a nice handful of Cyrus ass.
