Robert Kelly Threatens Philly With A Curse

Philly, be warned. Comedian Robert Kelly has vowed if you don’t go see him at Punch Line Philly July 21 st – 23rd he will put a voodoo curse on you… Kelly’s got it all going on right now. He is killing it on FX’s Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll season two, his podcast “You Know What Dude!” is beloved, he’s a family man, he had a great guest run on FX’s Louie and he absolutely crushed as a mentor at our recent Comedy 101 live show. This weekend, he’ll be bringing his funny-as-fuck stand up to the brand new Punch Line in Philly, and in a press interview he told Philly.com all about how he did his first road gig ever in Philly, got his first ‘happy ending’ in Philly.
He also said he’d curse Philly if people don’t come out. “Come see me, dude. Listen, if you read this, and you don’t buy a ticket, I jinx you. Forever. I put voodoo on you. I don’t care if you don’t believe in that stuff — you will now. If you don’t buy a ticket in the next hour, weird s— will happen to you. I’m not saying bad, I’m just saying weird. Some of it might be bad. Mildly bad things, like a traffic ticket or flat tire, will happen to you for the rest of your life.”
Honestly, take this warning seriously, a jinx like this can only be lifted by mixing a chicken head, blood of virgin, and a traditional Cajun roux… And a good roux is REALLY hard to master. Just go see him!
