Artist Ben Garrison tweeted out this cartoon that featured a muscular and manly Michelle Obama next to a pageant ready Melania Trump. The tweet upset a lot of people who were calling it racist and misogynistic. Garrison tweeted ‘Satire could strip naked, paint itself purple and yell “Satire-satire!” and they still wouldn’t see it’. Racist AND misogynistic? Why not just throw in a gay joke too and go for the triple crown!?
