Jack Whitehall Performs Stand Up
UK comedian Jack Whitehall performed standup on the Tonight Show Friday night. Whitehall says he likes New Yorkers better than west coasters, because we drink like Brits. He also explains why The Lion King is Shakespeare with fur, and why you shouldn’t be impressed by his accent.
Whitehall has an extensive television career in the UK, including the hit series Fresh Meat, Back Chat and he’s a regular on the talk series A League of Their Own. He began performing stand up in 2007, and quickly began racking up standup awards. He now tours arenas and has written a book, Him and Me about his relationship with his father, Jack Whitehall.
In November, Whitehall became the youngest person to host the Royal Variety Performance and he’s also starring in the upcoming film, Mothers Day which co-stars Jennifer Anniston here in the US and you can watch his last touring DVD on Netflix.
