The NBA Officially Sells Out, Ads Will Be On Jerseys Starting in 2017

The NBA board of governors has announced that starting in 2017 NBA teams will be allowed to put a small logo on the shoulder of jerseys. The patch wont be included on replicas being sold but teams do have the option to put them on the jerseys they sell at their own team stores. Some commentators are up in arms, others say it’s no big deal, international soccer (and other sports) have been doing this forever. Of course they also don’t have commercials interrupting game play.

Only a matter of time until The Chicago Papa Johns face off against the Golden State Apple’s.
