NFL Warns The Falcons They Might Not Get Super Bowl Over Anti-Gay Laws

nfl black outAn anti-gay rights law that may get passed in Georgia is threatening the Atlanta Falcons bid to host the Super Bowl in 2019. Their new stadium opens in 2017. The NFL released this statement:

NFL policies emphasize tolerance and inclusiveness, and prohibit discrimination based on age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other improper standard. Whether the laws and regulations of a state and local community are consistent with these policies would be one of many factors NFL owners may use to evaluate potential Super Bowl host sites.

This is great press for the NFL, friend of the gays. Now no one is going to care about all those head injuries.
