Singer songwriter, Lorde, along with Bowie’s backing bad, gave a moving tribute at the BRIT Awards in London to David Bowie, with a rendition of his song Life On Mars. The song was preceded by an instrumental medley of some of his greatest hits and accompanied by images and videos of Bowie’s life and career. Afterwards, Lorde took to the stage and belted out her version of Life on Mars, from his 1971 album Hunky Dory, and was met with massive applause and a standing ovation.
