Tim Curry Will Return In The New Rocky Horror, But Not As Your Sweet Transvestite

Tim Curry has signed on for the new Fox TV remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Curry, who played the character of Frank-n-Furter in the original film, will be joining the cast as the role of the narrator, known as The Criminologist.

High School Musical’s Kenneth Ortega is directing the wo-hour remake of the 1975 cult classic which will be filmed for television in honor of the film’s 40th Anniversary. The Frank-n-Furter role is being played by Laverne Cox of Orange is the New Black, and Victoria Justice and Ryan McCartan wlil play stranded young newlyweds Brad and Janet. Penny Dreadful’s Reeve Carney is tapped to play Riff Raff. Staz Nair will take over the role of Rocky and American Idol star Adam Lambert will play the role of Eddie, which was originally played by Meatloaf.

The musical remake will air as part of a 2 hour 2016 Halloween special.

The addition of Tim Curry as the criminologist has suddenly made the entire event much more interesting, and We assume hidden behind that desk, Curry will be sporting fishnets and heels. Come on Tim, Don’t dream it… BE IT!
