YouTube Star Miranda Sings Gets A Netflix Deal

YouTube sensation Miranda Sings has just signed a deal with Netflix for her own series titled, Haters Back Off. Miranda Sings, the character created by actress Colleen Ballinger Evans, has over 5.7 million subscribers and has grown in popularity outside of YouTube, including landing appearances on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
The Miranda Sings character was first created in 2008 and has since gained more than 700 million views.
Netflix has not specified a starting date yet for the series, but Haters Back Off will be an eight episode series and will delve more into the characters family background and storyline.
