Broad City Gets Fourth and Fifth Season
Yaaaas Kweens! Amy Schumer isn’t the only hilariously funny Comedy Central star kicking sweet ’16 off with big news. Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer are getting fourth and fifth seasons on Comedy Central with the massively popular series “Broad City.” Season three of Broad City will premiere in February for a ten episode run.
Broad city made dozens of best shows of 2015 lists including our own Top Ten Comedy Series of 2015, and Abbi and Ilana are giant talents. Created by Jacobson and Glazer, the second season run of “Broad City” was the #1 show in cable in its timeslot with Men 18-34. The show is about two best friends navigating their twenties in New York City whose adventures always lead down unexpected and outlandish paths. They’re broke, flawed and don’t shy away from the sticky situations.
Joining Jacobson and Glazer are an impressive cast of series regulars and guest stars including Hannibal Buress, Arturo Castro, Paul Downs, John Gemberling, Chris Gethard, Bob Balaban, Aidy Bryant, Susie Essman, Janeane Garofalo, Kumail Nanjiani, Seth Rogen, Alia Shawkat and David Wain.
