Gervais Clears Up Return To The Office

Well, in an office. Ricky Gervais released a new photograph on his twitter that shows David Brent back in the office, in somewhat familiar looking territory for his new movie Life on the Road leading to wide speculation that Brent might be returning to Wernham Hogg.
The caption on the tweet read “Great to be back in the office. A new dawn.”
After seeing the tweet, the Guardian began speculating that Brent might be returning to his old job, but perhaps in a new location after the space used in The Office’s opening credits was demolished in 2013. Gervais tweeted to the Guardian to clear up that Brent will now be working at Slough-based cleaning products company Lavichem.
The film will follow Brent on tour with his band 15 years after leaving his old job at Wernham Hogg, the company that was the basis for the beloved UK series, The Office.
“I’m so excited that the world will see what David Brent is up to now and where his future lies.
“This film delves much more into his private life than The Office ever did and we really get to peel back the layers of this extraordinary, ordinary man,” Gervais revealed in a statement.
Life on the Road, will theaters in August 2016.
